Your All-Access Pass

Authorized Personnel Only. You’ve seen these signs that distinguish who’s allowed in and who must remain beyond the barrier. They quietly guard doors in hospitals, airports, banks, and countless other places. Entry requires a badge, a code, or a direct invitation.
For centuries, a sign like this symbolically hung over a massive, heavily woven veil in the Jewish temple, guarding access to the Holy of Holies, the room where the Spirit of God dwelt. Only an elite few were granted entry, and only one at a time, once a year.
Everyone else, the vast majority, remained outside. No amount of effort could grant them access. They couldn’t pray, pay, or perform enough. It was impossible to prove themselves worthy enough. The barrier was real and absolute.
And yet, in one of the most mysterious and supernatural moments recorded in Scripture, as Jesus took His final breath on the cross, the veil was torn in two from top to bottom. It was as if the very hand of God reached down and removed what once stood between Him and all of mankind.
The significance of this moment cannot be overstated. What once stood as a barrier was removed, making a way for direct access to God through the finished work of Jesus. The torn veil became an open invitation—to come near, to approach, and to be with Him.
But the barrier was not only ripped. It pointed to something even deeper.
The veil became a picture of Jesus Himself, His body torn so that nothing would stand between God and us.
He is the veil...the gate…the way.
The One through whom we now enter.
The One who ushers us into the presence of the Father.
