It began privately.
In deeply personal, intimate encounters with God that I held close to my heart. He met me in quiet moments — shaping me, healing me, and revealing more of His heart and character.
It was a flicker. A quiet glow that drew me in.
Some things are meant to remain private — sacred conversations between you and God, hidden seasons of growth, delicate prayers whispered boldly in the stillness. But sometimes a private flicker isn’t meant to stay hidden. Sometimes it’s the beginning of a spreading flame.
That’s how A Story Worth Living was born. Not from a public announcement, a strategic plan, or even a book idea, but from a season of personal encounter.
I would have been content to keep it tucked safely within that protected space. But over time, the flicker grew. First, I shared the match with the Echo Joy Collective team, where it expanded and took on new life. Then it became a steady flame. And today, that once-private flicker steps fully into the light.
Which makes me wonder: What flicker has God placed inside you? Could something that started as a private dream, calling, burden, or idea now be growing into a gift meant to bless others?
Not every spark is meant for a stage. But some are meant to be shared. Don’t dismiss what feels small. If God is fanning it, pay attention. What begins as a quiet connection with Him may become a light for someone else. Fan the flame.
