This work didn’t begin as a book. It started as a simple idea—a short downloadable resource pulled from one sacred moment in Scripture: the encounter between Jesus and the bleeding woman in Luke 8. But the longer I lingered in her story, the more God revealed. What I expected to be a few lessons slowly became something much deeper.
One of my favorite takeaways from her story is Jesus’ refusal to let her slip away quietly after her healing.
He called her out.
We often associate being “called out” with shame or exposure, but that is not the way of Jesus. When He pauses, searches the crowd, and asks, "Who touched Me?" He waits patiently as she chooses to step forward.
He called her out not for punishment—but for purpose.
Jesus allowed her to use her voice to tell her story on her terms and to step into the wholeness she had just received publicly.
Friend, we have a God who still does this.
He invites us out of hiding—not to shame us, but to restore us. To remind us that our stories matter and that healing is not meant to stay hidden.
